How opt-in works

Ledger is a private system, so the opt-in screen sits behind a sign-in. This page shows that screen and its wording publicly.

Who can opt in

Only members of MYNC Properties LLC, each with his own Ledger account. Ledger does not message anyone else, and it does not collect phone numbers from the public.

The steps

  1. The member signs in to Ledger and opens Settings → Messaging.
  2. He enters his mobile number.
  3. He reads the consent wording below and ticks the box. The box is unchecked by default, and Ledger works normally if he leaves it unchecked.
  4. He selects Turn on messaging. Ledger records his name, the number, the wording shown, and the date and time.
  5. Ledger sends one confirmation text: "Ledger: messaging is on for this number. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

The consent wording

I agree to receive text messages from Ledger (MYNC Properties LLC) at the number above about transactions that need my review and confirmations of entries I approve. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to use Ledger. See the Messaging Terms and Privacy Policy.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message, or turn messaging off on the same Settings screen. See the messaging terms.
